In contrast, Filmora X comes with fewer features but has almost all the features that a beginner or intermediate video editor needs. However, it is very beginner-friendly and offers far more ready-made stuff than FilmoraPro.
Overall, both offer great features but Filmora X lacks many features that a professional video editor would need.

However, please keep in mind that the license you buy for Windows can only be used on Windows PC and Mac licenses can only be used on Mac computers.
So when purchasing the license, make sure you are purchasing the correct version for your operating system.
Apart from costs, since both are free to download and use, you may wonder:
What are the differences between the free trial of Filmora X and Pro and the paid version?
The free version of Filmora X and FilmoraPro includes all of the same features as the full version but the only difference is that videos exported from the free version include a big watermark.
To remove the watermark, you have to purchase the license.
Pricing – The Verdict:
In terms of pricing, Filmora X is the winner as it is a lot cheaper than FilmoraPro but supports fewer features.
System Requirements
Apart from all the other deciding factors such as interface, features, pricing, and all that, knowing the system requirements for both software is one of the most important considerations when choosing between Filmora X vs FilmoraPro.
Why? Because no matter which is your preferred choice based on the other factors, if any of these two programs don’t run properly on your computer then it’s useless.
So in this section, we’ll compare both in terms of system requirements.
Since both are available for Windows and Mac, let’s first compare the system requirements of Filmora X and FilmoraPro for Windows.

However, I’ve used both software on my Core i7 laptop with 8 GB of RAM, and let me share my personal experience using both in terms of performance.
On my PC, Filmora X works smoothly without any issues, but FilmoraPro is a bit laggy, and I’ve experienced crashes and slowdowns as well.
Being a professional video editing software, FilmoraPro has higher system requirements compared to Filmora X.
I would say if your preferred choice is FilmoraPro then you must have a fast computer with better specifications, at least better than my laptop’s specs for running this program smoothly.
System Requirements – The Verdict:
Filmora X easily outperforms FilmoraPro when it comes to system requirements. It can run smoothly on a mid-range PC or Mac, but FilmoraPro requires a high-end PC or Mac to run this program smoothly.
Conclusion
Both Filmora X and FilmoraPro are the best video editing software but both of these programs fit different individuals.
